OCTOBER 2011 NEWSLETTER
GOT YOUR GREEN ON YET?
If you haven't noticed - there's a whole lot of change happening in the world. Not just any change - Green Change! Every day, more and more companies are adopting green initiatives to reduce waste AND to make more money. As a matter of fact, if you're looking for a new business, the federal government will be allocating billions (BILLIONS!) of dollars for companies to go green next year. Women-owned businesses will have an opportunity to win government contracts by supplying and/or producing green products. Whether you're looking to add a green product or service line to your business or change your entire business, jump on this train of opportunity and find out how you can capture some of the government's money. The government is looking toward this "Green" program as a way to provide employment opportunities which will assist in stimulating our sluggish economy.
The Professional Women's Business Network is proud to be part of the 2011 World Green Energy Symposium coming to the Pennsylvania Convention Center this month (October 19-21). We have been able to secure an amazing registration fee for the 3-day event of only $99.00 and exhibit tables (small quantity available) for only $349.00. There will be top-level Government officials holding workshops at this event that will provide you with the information about "green business" funding, employment, and grants. In addition, the Symposium will feature a large Exhibit area with numerous "green companies" looking for business partners. Because we were given an amazing discount - you must act quickly to register for either attendance (no later than October 14) OR exhibit table (no later than October 7). Hope to see you there! (Click on the "World Green Energy Symposium" tab on this website for more information and a link to register).
